Hi, I'm Jason, a toy designer based in Toronto, Canada. I specialize in developing new brands led by play patterns, as well as collectibles, action toys, blind boxes, plush and more.

I lead product design and development across major entertainment licenses and original IPs - from hit Netflix series to top anime franchises. With over 5 years of experience in the Toy Industry, I’ve had the opportunity to create some incredible toys and collectibles for these properties, designing for fans as a fan myself. I’m deeply passionate about as a HUGE toy nerd leading end to end product development, from concept ideation, design, prototypes, final product, and more. I enjoy developing lore, character names and bios, and backstories for toys and IP as well. One of my favourite things about toys is that a piece a plastic + your imagination, can create endless worlds, adventures and stories and memories to last a lifetime.

I now spearhead toy design and develop original toy-led IPs and created new brands such as Battalor and Taggy Bears at my current role as Sr. Design Manager at Toikido.

I enjoy skateboarding, fingerboarding, kitbashing, and collecting toys - especially Marvel Legends action figures, Japanese softubi & vinyl figures, Bakugan, and Beyblades. I also love reading Marvel comics (specifically F4, Silver Surfer & Spidey) & manga, and gaming on my free time.

My main games are Fortnite, Marvel Rivals, and was also a ranked Mario Kart player and a competitive Beyblader and Pickleball Player.
